Types of Shipping Containers
In the shipping industry, goods should be packed well to make sure that it stays safe and protected throughout the entire shipping process. Number 3. Open side or open top container – like what the name suggests, its top cover easily opens to create more room upwards while the other door opens on the sides. They are actually used in ferrying bulky goods and could be used for shipping perishable products as its opening also acts as ventilation.
Number 4. Tank containers – there are different volumes of these containers that are intended to transport gaseous and liquid products. The non corrosive steel is being used for making these such types of shipping containers mainly for safety reasons.
It doesn’t matter what design or type the shipping containers have because so long as it has passed the ISO certification standards, it’s good to use.
